Cinnabon, the Seattle-based bakery concept has entered Libya. It has opened its first store in Libya which is located in capital city Tripoli. The new opening also marks the first ever launch of an American brand Libya. Arief and Ahmed Swaidek, the franchise partners have developed Cinnabon’s Tripoli site. Moreover, they have co-branded the Cinnabon location with Carvel, an ice-cream brand. They are also mulling to add at least 10 Cinnabon stores in the next five years. Cinnabon, which portrays itself as a leading brand in cinnamon roll bakery business currently operates over 900 stores in nearly 51 countries across the world.
