Coffee Planet, a Dubai based coffee brand has forayed into Malaysia. The brand has launched its first unique retail concept cafe in Malaysia. The new cafe covering an area of 1,500 sq. ft is located in Shah Alam, the state capital of Selangor province, near the country's capital Kuala Lumpur. With this new opening, the company now has six outlets. Out of these six, four stores are in the UAE including the flagship café in Sharjah City. One location has recently been opened in Muscat, Oman and now in Malaysia. Further, the brand has three more store launches in pipeline for Malaysia in 2012. The UAE is set to get 10 Coffee Planet cafés and kiosks operational by the end of next year. Additionally, Coffee Planet operates its own state-of-the-art roastery facility in Dubai, which provides the company, control over its supply chain.
