British retailer Debenhams is continuing to expand in Saudi Arabia. It has recently opened a new department store in capital city Riyadh. Located in Othaim Mall and spread over 3,811 sq m, the new Debenhams is the retailer’s fifth store in Riyadh. It offers a wide assortment of high street fashion, homeware, perfumes besides beauty, accessories and cosmetic products. With this new opening, the retailer now operates 10 outlets in the country and 25 stores across the Middle East. Founded in 1778 in London, Debenhams plc has established presence under a department store format in the United Kingdom (UK), Ireland, and Denmark, and franchise stores in other countries. Its product portfolio comprises Fashion clothing, shoes, accessories, cosmetics, home and furniture, electricals, gifts, toys etc.
