Shawarma Xpress, the QSR chain, has forayed into Qatar via franchise route. The brands' local franchise holder, MAFCO Group of Companies, has opened its first outlet in Gharaffa, Doha. It will be opening two more outlets in the coming months to have six fully operational outlets in Qatar by the end of 2012. Bahrain-based Shawarma Xpress began operations in 2004. The chain has marked presence its’ in the Saudi and Bahraini markets. It aspires to have 50 outlets in Saudi Arabia in the near future. It is also mulling expansion into Kuwait, UAE and London.
Shawarma Xpress offers wide variety of high quality meats and breads. It caters to consumers seeking traditional recipes with international flavours along with affordable dining experience.
