An American restaurant company The Melting Pot, has forayed into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Tampa, Fla based restaurant management Front Burner Brands which is affiliated to the founders of The Melting Pot Restaurants Inc. has signed the deal to take The Melting Pot to the Kingdom. Under the agreement, the brand’s franchisee partner, Albabteen United Food Company will open five Melting Pot restaurants, with the first scheduled to open in Riyadh in late 2012. Outside the US, The Melting Pot has one franchise location in Canada, with a second planned for Toronto this spring, and two in Mexico City, and third scheduled to open there later this year.
