The chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Transport, Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has investigated the specially-designed A380 at Etihad Airways Engineering’s facilities in Abu Dhabi.
Etihad Airways has officially launched its Year of Zayed A380 aircraft as part of initiatives taking place this year which are inspired by the UAE's founding father.

The A380 in Year of Zayed ensemble is just one fundamental of Etihad’s huge initiatives taking place throughout 2018 which are based on four themes of wisdom: respect, sustainability, and human development.
The travelers on this aircraft will enjoy content and services influenced by the late Sheikh Zayed, which includes themed in-flight entertainment, kids’ packs and a photo gallery of his life.
Another initiative from Etihad, the Year of Zayed humanitarian freighter, will conduct its first flights for charitable organizations in May.
