UK based toy retailer Hamleys, is planning to open three new franchise stores in the Gulf region. The new stores will be opened in Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia in the next six to 12 months.
UK based toy retailer Hamleys, is planning to open three new franchise stores in the Gulf region. The new stores will be opened in Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia in the next six to 12 months. For this, Hamleys has signed a deal with Retail Arabia Company which is its Gulf franchise partner.
The brand is seeking to leverage the growing children’s toy market and increasing demand from Middle East consumers. The company already has presence through franchising in Dubai and Jordan.
Hamleys, the 250-year-old toy store first ventured into the overseas market in Jordan in 2008 and has eight stores towards its international business.
