The company announced an online auction of some of the most coveted numbers to become available in the UAE for years.
Virgin Mobile said its elite number plans have been set aside for the online auction including 0585 000 000, which is thought to be one of the most desirable mobile plans ever to be sold online in the UAE.
The auction will be open till 8pm on Saturday. The numbers can be found on the Online Auction App which can be downloaded free of charge from the Google Play and Apple App Store.
The company also added in a statement that the other Virgin Mobile 0585 numbers are available on first-come-first-served basis on the Virgin Mobile App.
Karim Benkirane, managing director at Virgin Mobile UAE said, “Your mobile number is important, and we are proud of our great new 0585 number range and we are asking the UAE ‘What’s your Virgin Mobile number?”
“0585 000 000 has an obvious appeal but many people have a number that is special to them, or perhaps want to share number combinations with friends. We want to let our customers personalize their mobile experience by choosing for themselves from our range of one million available number combinations.”
