Virgin Megastore has opened a new store in the Emirates. It is company’s eighth flagship store in the country. The new store located in Dubai Mall will offer wide range of entertainment and life style products such as CDs, DVDs, games, books, apparel and electronics to its consumers. Virgin is also planning to have more locations in the UAE and other parts of the Middle East. It would launch two more stores within the UAE by early 2012 and also mulling expansion for Qatar and Egypt.
The first Virgin Megastore was launched in London in 1976. The company has established its presence across the globe with Virgin music and entertainment stores in France, Greece, Australia, Germany, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE and Oman.
