The leading fashion brand Cortefiel has launched its first store in Doha, Qatar. The new point of sale is located at Lagoona Mall and offers products for both men and women. One of the prominent brands to be present in the store is ‘Pedro del Hierro’ men's wear brand. The Group Cortefiel forayed into Qatar via the master franchise agreement. The chain already has stores with Women' Secret and Springfield since 2008. It is now seeking further consolidation in the Middle East in the coming months.
Cortefiel Group based out of Spain started franchising in 2006. Presently, it has total of 52 stores in countries such as Cyprus, Andorra, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Costa Rica, Slovakia, Jordan, Morocco, Syria, Czech Republic and United Arab Emirates. The chain is continuing with its international expansion around the world with upcoming openings in Morocco and Kazakhstan.
