Accor ME, the hotel operator in the Middle East, is expanding its Mercure brand in the region with the opening of Mercure Gold Hotel in Dubai under a franchise agreement. This is Accor's first hotel to open in 2012 this year. The stylish and modern 4-star hotel, Mercure Gold Hotel is located at Al Mina Road Dubai. Moreover, Accor already has 19 Mercure properties in the Middle East besides this new property. Accor ME is one of the rapidly growing hospitality groups in the Middle East and its regional portfolio comprises a total of 55 operational hotels in 10 countries. It has existing global brands such as; Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure, ibis and new brands namely Pullman and Adagio.
