Golden Chick, the US food franchise has huge expansion plans in the Middle East. The first overseas location of the brand owned by Hasan Zoubi opened in Amman, Jordan in September, 2011. Tarek Samara will soon launch Golden Chick restaurant in Egypt. Both Zoubi and Samara are master licensees for the brand in these markets. Further, talks are in progress for entering the markets of Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and other Middle Eastern countries. The company will also expand its footprint in Asia with first location in China expected to open in 2012.
Based out of Dallas, the restaurant chain has about 100 outlets in Texas and Oklahoma. The brand is known for quality, menu variety, service and environment.
