Gelatissimo, an Australia-based gelateria concept is expanding in Kuwait. With one location already operational, the brand’s local master franchise partner has opened two more gelateria in Kuwait. The new gelateria are located in the Al Liwan Mall, Egaila and in the exclusive up-market Al Hamra Mall in Kuwait City’s Central Business District. All three stores offer the traditional Middle Eastern flavours such as pistachio, honey, fig and cardamom, as well as Gelatissimo’s signature flavours and Australian delights such as wattle, eucalyptus, mango and macadamia. On brand’s expansion in Kuwait, Gelatissimo’s Joint CEO, Domenico Lopresti said: “We see the expansion of the Master Franchise in Kuwait as a sign of acceptance into the Middle East market by its people and we are excited to be opening more territories in the region coming on line very soon.” Gelatissimo entered Kuwait almost six months ago. Founded in 2002, Gelatissimo, the award winning franchise has become one of the world’s largest gelato franchises today.
